Making your home look better doesn’t have to involve putting a vase on a stack of coffee table books you’ll never read or breaking the bank to renovate your entire kitchen. Here are 3 simply budget-friendly and renter-friendly things that remarkably improved how my apartment looks.
Painting My Walls
You might be surprised to find out that most landlords don’t mind their renters painting the walls as long as you paint them back afterward. Some don’t even require repainting since they’ll repaint anyway after anyone moves out. Very rarely have I seen rental apartments forbid people from painting their walls entirely.
Painting a wall is also much simpler than you might think. After all, all painting is, is to get some color onto a wall somewhat evenly. If your rental apartment has dingy yellow paint, please do yourself a favor and paint it white (unless you want to try other colors then props to you!). You’ll feel such a boost in your mood when everything is brightened.
I admit that setting foot in the paint store for the first time can be a little daunting because there will be a million…
