Impostor Syndrome by Kathy Wang
A Russian spy thriller set in silicon valley.
The spy is planted as the female COO of “tangerine” which is basically facebook. Then a low level tech support engineer found out about her suspicious data transfer, resulting in a cat and mouse game.
I loved how this is a thriller set in silicon valley. It’s a very interesting feeling to read about top secret Russian agent meetings and contemporary tech & woke culture satire on the same page. Great character development and very clever storyline.
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
I’ve never been a romance reader and usually prefer sad books, but the Love Hypothesis is so fun and sexy I just couldn’t put it down. It has a fantastic story, great character development, a wonderful ending, so much smart banter — its just perfect!
